Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has offered a rare glimpse into his personal life, revealing that he handed over the first ₦100 million cheque he ever received to his wife, Jumobi Mofe-Damijo, as a symbol of love and appreciation.

“When she got it, she asked if I wanted her to keep it for the children. I told her no—that she should keep it for herself and do whatever she wanted with it,” he explained.
Although he insisted the money was hers, RMD admitted he knew much of it would ultimately benefit the family.
“The trick is that I know 90 per cent of the money will eventually end up being spent on the children. I like giving my wife the biggest things I have so she never has to ask for anything. All the big and beautiful things in the house are hers,” he added.
