Nigerian Grammy-winning singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has taken delivery of his customised Bugatti Chiron VXX Special Edition, a one-of-one hypercar reportedly valued at about ₦9 billion.
The vehicle, created through a collaboration involving Dubai-based luxury car customisation company Venuum, has attracted renewed attention after its latest delivery to Burna Boy was documented in Nigeria.
Reports indicate that the car was transported from Abuja to Lagos on Saturday, September 19, following its earlier arrival in Nigeria and presentation at an Abuja showroom.
A One-of-One Bugatti Chiron
The vehicle is based on the Bugatti Chiron and has been extensively modified by Venuum. The company previously described the project as a one-of-one creation and presented it as its first widebody Bugatti Chiron.
The customisation includes distinctive exterior styling and Burna Boy branding, including his name on the car’s carbon-fibre rear wing. The design was developed specifically around the Nigerian music star, who had previously expressed interest in owning a highly personalised Bugatti.
Venuum unveiled the vehicle in July 2026 as a special-edition Chiron created for Burna Boy, coinciding with his birthday celebrations.
Reported ₦9 Billion Valuation
Several Nigerian automotive and entertainment publications have placed the value of the customised Bugatti at around ₦9 billion.
However, the figure should be treated as a reported valuation rather than a confirmed purchase price. Burna Boy and Venuum have not publicly confirmed the final amount paid for the vehicle.
The reported valuation reflects not only the underlying Bugatti Chiron but also its bespoke modifications, transportation and associated costs.
Abuja Car, the dealership associated with the vehicle’s sale, previously described the automobile as one of the most expensive cars in West Africa and announced its arrival at its Abuja showroom in July.

Underneath the extensive customisation is the Bugatti Chiron platform, one of the most powerful production hypercars of its generation.
The Chiron uses an 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine. Standard Chiron specifications are associated with output of up to around 1,500 horsepower, while performance varies across different versions and configurations.
The car’s engineering places it firmly in the ultra-high-performance category, alongside a limited class of hypercars produced for wealthy collectors and enthusiasts around the world.
The Venuum project adds another layer of exclusivity by giving Burna Boy a vehicle with styling and branding developed specifically for him.
From Abuja to Lagos
The latest development follows the vehicle’s earlier arrival in Nigeria.
Autojosh reported that the customised Bugatti was transported from Abuja to Lagos on September 19, citing a video shared by Sadiq Aminu, the chief executive of Abuja Car.
The movement of the vehicle generated renewed attention online, with images and videos showing the hypercar after its arrival in Lagos.
The delivery marks another stage in the journey of a vehicle that had already attracted considerable attention when Venuum unveiled it earlier in the year.
Burna Boy’s Growing Luxury Car Collection
The Bugatti joins a collection of high-end vehicles associated with Burna Boy, including models from manufacturers such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Porsche and McLaren.
Among the vehicles reported to be part of his collection are a Lamborghini Revuelto, Ferrari 812 GTS, Porsche 911 GT3 RS and McLaren Senna.

Burna Boy later responded to criticism concerning the roads on which the car would be driven, arguing that responsibility for constructing and maintaining roads does not rest with him. His comments were widely reported at the time.
